About me

I started in photography back in the good ol' days at technical College with a "proper camera" and over the years have gradually gone through different makes of 35mm SLR and digital cameras until I settled on current Nikon Professional dSLR equipment.
I have been the senior photographer for one of the Royal Colleges of London, covering their conferences, exhibitions and publicity shots.
I have run several one-day courses on using digital cameras and photography for beginners which have been very well received, alongside a photography" club" meeting every month to pursue various "Themes"

One of my passions is photographing jazz concerts and "Open Mic. evenings, which I do for charities and entertainment agencies.
I prefer not to use flash in these situations as I feel it spoils the "atmosphere" created by the stage lighting and disturbs the performers.
